My Mission Call

      My life's plan changed dramatically on October 12, 2012 when the prophet of the LDS church, Thomas S. Monson, announced changing the required age of sister missionaries from 21 to 19. As soon as I heard his words, I knew without a doubt in my mind that I was meant to go on a mission.

     Fast forward 7 months of preparation, prayers, and long waiting, my call was finally here! I went to the Salt Lake City Temple and did baptisms for the dead and went into the waiting chapel alone and opened my call after reading the scriptures and writing in my journal. The moment I read "Stockholm Sweden Mission", I knew that it was where I was meant to go. 

    I went home and had a get-together with friends and family, where I announced it to the people that I love. It was the most exciting moment in my life and I was grateful to share it with people who truly support me.

   I am so excited to serve a mission in Sweden!
